Originated from Persia, Pomegranate has an important place and meaning in almost all cultures and religions. The pomegranate is used at weddings, ceremonies or at home to bring fertility, love, luck, and abundance (probably while a pomegranate can contain more than a thousand seeds).
This magical fruit is mentioned couple times in Talmus, Qu'ran and Bible. Even, according to many Jewish scholars the pomegranate was the forbidden fruit of the Garden of Eden.

In ancient Rome, wreaths woven from pomegranate leaves were worn by brides at wedding decoration, as a symbol of richness and fertility.
